Caribbean Cruise
This last April marked our 5 year anniversary! We had hoped to celebrate by sailing around the Caribbean but the timing just wasn't right and so we pushed it back to when the weather here turned cold again. Just after Thanksgiving we said goodbye to Gabe and flew to San Juan. We boarded the ship that would take us to St. Thomas, Tortola, Antigua, St. Lucia, and Barbados. Every place was beautiful and we had a fantastic time! In order to help us see at least some of every island we booked shore excursions at each one. These included swimming with dolphins, turtles, stingrays and sunken ships. At St. Lucia we headed into the beautiful rain forest to ride some ziplines and even got to taste a cocoa bean - which tastes nothing like chocolate. After the ship docked back in San Juan we stayed an extra night and were able to do some sight seeing there. They have some really old and very cool forts that we explored. Also, this was where Jerry's favorite beach was because the waves were bigger and crashing so he could body surf. Here are just some of the pictures from our adventure...
